30701 Private George Hildreth Waugh,

13th Battalion Durham Light Infantry.

Killed in action on 7th June 1917. He is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres Panel 36 and 38.

He was born and resident in Tow Law Town, County Durham and enlisted at Bishop Auckland, County Durham.

George is on the left. He was at Huntroyde from 20 October 1916 to 17 November 1916.
