124070 Driver George William Mace,

Royal Field Artillery.

George was at Huntroyde in 1917.

Born 18 January 1888 at Holbeach, Lincolnshire, the son of Robert and Mary Ann Mace, he enlisted on the 9 December 1915.

Mace was by religion Church of England, a married man and by trade a Licensed Ganger.

Prior to arriving at Huntroyde he had seen 30 months service and was wounded at Armentiers.
