Born Athlone, Ireland September 1892. Enlisted 27 July 1908. Parents shown as Mr. William and Mrs W. E. Crawley.

Invalided from Belgium on the 13 December 1914 (states - bombed out at Ypres).

Crawley was at the Huntroyde Auxiliary Military Hospital from 14 December 1914 until 6 January 1915. He later served in Egypt with H.Q. Mounted Corps.

Crawley's Medal Index Card shows his entitlement to the 1914 Star and bar, British War and Victory Medals. Also shown on the card is his entitlement to the India General Service Medal (1908 - 1935) bar Waziristan 1921 - 1924. Embarked for France on the 3 November 1914.

7578709 Warrant Officer Class 2 in 1921.

Awarded the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal in 1927 (Army Order 150).
