Standing is 2071 Trooper Ernest Constable 1st Berkshire Yeomanry, seated on the right is 5165 Private Ernest C. Phillips 7th Battalion, London Regiment.

Previously served in the East Surrey Militia and Royal Warwickshire Regiment.

Served in the Royal Artillery (TF) from 7 May 1913 until transferred to the Labour Corps. To France 15 March 1915. Final discharge was 30 February 1919. On SWB list LC/5098.
