R13466 Rifleman John Teasdale Allinson,

King's Royal Rifle Corps.

John is seated. He was at Huntroyde from 20th November 1915 to 21st December 1915.

Standing is 8008 Sergeant Thomas Hogg, 7th Battalion, King's Own Scottish Borderers.

Allinson was born at Leeds, Yorkshire circa 1877, the son of Alfred and Sarah Allinson. He served during the Boer War. He re-joined the army in 1915 and went to France on the 9 September 1915. He was a clerk by trade and a married man. He also recorded the fact that he was Church of England by religion. He was wounded at Cappy, near Arras, France.
