6025 Private Harry Addison, 2nd Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Harry is on the left. He was at Huntroyde from 11 August 1916 to 1 September 1916. Standing on the right is 6139 Private Frederick Smith, 17th Battalion, London Regiment. Born 8 December 1883 at Metheringham, Lincolnshire, the son of Charles and Elizabeth Addison. Addison was a horseman prior to enlisting on the 7 November 1901. He stated he was a married man and a Wesleyan. He arrived in France on 6 September 1914. He was wounded on the 27 October 1914 at Neuve Chapelle and again at the same place on 21 March 1915.
