Frederick Langham,

29th Field Artillery Regiment, United States Army.

Born at Hapton circa 1891. I have not been able to trace any details of this man other than from the 1901 census when he was living with his family at 21, Church Street, Hapton, Lancashire.

The unit he is recorded as serving with - the 29th Field Artillery Regiment, United States Army - did not see any overseas service during the war due to it being decimated in February 1918 when, during training in Texas, the unit suffered almost 100% casualties from the outbreak of the Spanish Flu epidemic. I can only presume that Langham was one of these victims.
